New build (v5.0002), available now on the main page! WE'RE IN BETA. DUDE. I KNOW. What does that mean (functionally, for you?) Not much, but the focus is gonna be on fixing these bugs (like my white whale of a bug, the Lingering Text Box On Load Sometimes bug) and any new content ***EXCEPT FOR STUFF LEADING INTO ACT 2**** will be going into Act 2! I'll STILL be updating Act 1, but any NEW CONTENT will be minimal, OR, Act 2 bumpers/cutscenes/quest intros. Now, without further ado, I present to you: SOME HELLA CRITICAL BUGFIXES!!

MAJOR CHANGES

• Changed Laila’s Final Girl Ball quest intro text
• Hex’s collar should no longer linger on-screen if it’s been gifted to him & he’s wearing it
• Updated Hex’s makeout minigame so the text reads correctly re: Hex being in a suit for the Gatsby party
• Added extra Partner Chat options into Juno’s Partner Chat
• Finished (SPOILERS) Paisleigh, Tanya, & Plutonium Act 2 bumpers leading into Laila’s Act 2 storyline
• [TENTATIVE] You should no longer greenscreen when encountering your love interest outside your dorm between the Prologue and Chapter 1, lmk if this is still busted!!
  

MINOR CHANGES

• Added 2 new Lockpick books that add +10% to your Lockpick skill (one during Act 2, one during Act 1, stackable)
• Moved ! UI effect to a different band for Act 2 reasons
• Fixed locked door for Ashleigh’s room
• Fixed locked door for Mike’s room
• Fixed line break for “You agreed to be Laila's consort to the Final Girl Ball!” in Memories
• “It’s Prom Season…” memory text no longer in memories after you ask someone to Prom
• Removed Player Name from Save/Load screen (TEMP - until I add a fix to name saves)
• Removed tick number from Save/Load screen
• Made it so Tate’s “Chestburster/Chestburster II” title screens come up correctly consecutively
• Added locks back onto Juno’s partner chat in preparation for Act 2
• Added Cheat Codes input to settings menu! Hint: One of them is a meme on the Slasher U discord about an infinite Bucks exploit ;)
